Intention

Just go with the flow and watch a movie

It was the continuation of the Canada Day long weekend at my friend’s house.  Friday morning/afternoon we had indulged mushrooms as a group and had an excellent time followed by a house party that night with our extended group of friends.  The Saturday night, we still had about 4 or 5 grams left so me and my best friend enjoyed them at around 2 or 3am.  I can’t remember why we decided to eat them that late into the night. We were watching John Carpenter’s “Vampires” (which was terrible) and the effects seemed slow. We called it a night and went to bed which is when I really started feeling the effects.  I was laying in the spare bedroom and at this point it was dawn and the sky was just beginning to light up. I decided to take a dip in the pool and was waddling around eating a lime popsicle, when out of the corner of my eye I saw a little fluffy white rabbit appear from the bushes.  Mind you this is the most suburban neighbourhood, so seeing this rabbit was extremely strange, especially when on mushrooms… I honestly wasn’t sure if it was real at first but I slowly made my way over to the edge of the pool where the rabbit began to approach.  I suddenly burst out laughing which scared it away, back towards the bushes.  The next morning I told my buddy about the visit from this rabbit, but he didn’t believe me.  The following day his neighbor came by to let him know their pet dwarf bunny had gotten out, and seemed to be wandering between the houses eating the neighbours vegetables!

A Sacred Journey

I remember this journey like it was yesterday. I’d read about doing a ceremony on the full moon in alignment with cycles of the planet to associate it with something larger than myself.

Lost Son

Every parent wants the best for their children…to see them happy and thriving. My son was born struggling. He struggled getting through a school day, struggled getting along with others, struggled finding something that he loved or even liked enough to stick with.

Surrender

The idea was for us to grieve; to grieve parts of our younger selves, the things we didn’t achieve, and the regrets and resentments we held on to still
